END of TRIPURASURA

END of TRIPURASURA

Once in brahmloka, Rishi Narada requested Father Brhama to narrate the tale of Tripurasur.

Brhama ji said –

After the death of Tarkasur from the hands of Kartikaya, Son of Shiva,

three son of Tarkasur performed great penance.

The eldest one was named Tarkasha, Middle one was Vidyunmali and the youngest was Kamlaksh.

I, Brhma, became pleased and asked them to tell their wish.

In turn they asked for three invincible forts.

The description of the forts would be –

That they will float in space in a specified orbit,
Would be filled with every kind of wealth and splendors,
Would be filled with every kind of enjoyments and worldly pleasures.
Nobody could enter it without permission.
Forts would be protected from every danger, weapon and army. Three forts be like three planets having own gravity and atmosphere.

On their request, I permitted three forts, Gold fort for Tarkaksh, silver for Vidyunmali and iron for Kamlaksh.
Maya Demon constructed the forts in sky.

(Maya demon was a tribe of demons who acted as architects for all demons, rakshas and negative forces. They themselves were very cruel and strong but expert architects as Vishwakarmas were for GODs. They had created many structures for demons and rakshas and had made many weapons and other devices for their progress. Maya calendar is famous till now)

The three forts constructed by Mayas were invincible. One was in Bhurvaloka, second on Bhuloka and last on Patal loka. The three forts were collectively named as Tripurasura.

Maya demons themselves took the responsibility for protecting the forts by the help of their secret Maya knowledge.

I told them that only SHIVA can destroy these forts as he the supreme power and master of all arts.

The three son of Tarkasura started praying Aadi Shiva to please him, followed all rules, and became good king for their subjects. Their people loved them for their ability to rule and felt protected in their forts. They followed Dharma according to Vedas. Heavenly bodies also started praising them.

But they started tormenting GODS and other deities, insulting them and proving better than them.

Now troubled deities and GODs went to Brhma ji to narrate HIM about their miseries. Brhamaji advised them to see SHIVA.

The great Yogi SHIVA expressed HIS inability to help GODS and Deities as the son of Tarkasura were performing all the duties properly. They were very virtuous and they had not done anything wrong. They were religious and performing their religious duties. Their people were happy and were on the path of justice. But also SHIVA advised GODS to see Shree Vishnu and assured that Shree Hari Vishnu can help them all.

At last all the Deities and GODS went to Shree Vishnu and narrated HIM their trouble. Shree Vishnu promised to help them, created millions of armed spirits, and ordered them to attack three demon brothers.

The might of tripurasura was that much that the spirits were of no match to them. All spirits flee from the battle and returned to Shree Vishnu. At this Shree Vishnu got quite worried. He sent back all the deities and started thinking.

Shree-Hari Vishnu understood that the tripurasura could not be destroyed till they remain religious and virtuous. Till they perform their duties.

Shree-Hari Vishnu then created an illusionary entity from his body.
This entity was bald (No hair on Head), wore dirty clothes and a bag hang hanging on his shoulder.

The entity bowed to Shree Vishnu and asked about the purpose of his existence and his name.

Shree Vishnu told him that his name would be “Arihan”.

Shree Vishnu instructed him to preach knowledge that is against rituals explained in Vedas. To create a scripture which stress upon the importance of action and present. To preach the importance of getting enjoyments as the life is one. To stress that heaven and hell does not exist anywhere else but on earth itself.
To create the scripture which stress the importance of action and specifically instructed him to keep the language of that scripture as simple and degenerated as possible.

Shree Vishnu instructed Arihan to preach this knowledge to Tripurasuras so that they become irreligious.

Shree Vishnu ordered Arihan to make his base in a desert with his disciples.

“You should propagate your philosophy with the arrival of Kaliyuga”, said Shree-Hari Vishnu.

After giving other instructions, Shree Vishnu disappeared.

Arihan started his work. He created four other illusionary entities and instructed them to act as his followers. He named them as, “Rishi”, “Yati”, “Keerya” and “Upadhyay”.

Soon they entered the three forts, started preaching. In a matter of no time they made innumerous disciples and many of them started preaching like them.

Many self proclaimed teachers/ philosophers/ Sadhus mushroomed, each having his set of disciples.

They started preaching and diverting their listeners from religion.

Soon the three Demon Kings also became their followers.

The result was that the three Demon kings and their subjects become irreligious and got involved in all type of activities.

The merits decreased and sin increased as years passed. Time came when everyone in Tripurasura became irreligious and their sin increased from the level.

All were indulged in killing, and all sinful activities. They started consider Arihan and his team as GODS or messenger of GOD and followed them blindly.

GODS and Deities were pleased on the downfall of Demon brothers and they all went to Aadi SHIVA.

They requested SHIVA to kill them and end the Sin completely.

As they were talking to SHIVA, Mother Parvati came with Ganesha and Kartikaya and request SHIVA to accompany her.

SHIVA walked with Mother Parvati and GODS followed them requesting to kill Tripurasura. They kept on requesting but SHIVA was listening to Mother Parvati. Deities and GODS got angry with mother Parvati as she was acting as an obstacle in fulfilling their objective. They expressed their anger.

On this, one of the SHIVA gana, Kumbhodhar, got annoyed and angrily attacked the GODS and DEITIES. All of them got injured and fled from there. They went to Shree Vishnu and asked for help. Shree Vishnu advised them to chant “OM NAMAHA SHIVAY” for one crore times.

The DEITIES followed the instruction and chanted Panchakshari (Five Letter) Mantra one crore times.

Aadi Shiva was pleased and appeared before them. He assured the deities and GODS that their wish will be fulfilled.

SHIVA waited for another thousand years so the Demon kings get filled with sin and their killing would be justified. Soon the fatal day arrived.

Aadi SHIVA summoned HIS Pashupat Astra.(Pashupat Weapon),
[As per Brhmaji’s boon no weapon, soul, being  created under the creation of Brhma could have destroyed them ]

Pashupat weapon destroyed the three forts with one stroke. Destruction started everywhere. Everything started to vanish. It created havoc among the demons.

On seeing vast destruction and death everywhere, Tripurasuras trembled with fear and prayed SHIVA to have mercy on them. SHIVA assured them that after their death, they would be reborn and will be SHIVA GANA.
As HIS words completed, Tripurasura was completely destroyed, killing everyone there.

As Maya Demons were outside, they escaped death. Maya demons got very terrified and started praying SHIVA. Pleased by their prayers, SHIVA spared them.

All GODS and DEITIES returned to their respective abodes after duly praying SHIVA.
It was then; Arihan’s work was also completed. He took permission from Shree VISHNU and proceeded towards Desert on Mrityuloka (EARTH). He made his abode in Desert and started wait for Kaliyuga to start his preachings again.

Mystic Shiva

Mystic Shiva

In the beginning there was nothing. No light, no darkness, no time no universe, only a void space. Only the purest soul of Shiva and Shakti (Parwati) dwell.
The desire to have one more being flowered in their heart. With the desire, a being emerged from the left body part of Shiva, had 1000 eyes and 1000 arms.

He bowed before Shiva and spoke -“Oh great father, who I am, what is my name and what purpose I stand for. What should I do?
Shiva and Shakti named their son Vishnu and asked HIM to meditate.

Shree Vishnu meditated for another 1000 Dev years. At the end the water poured out from his Divine body in fountains and the whole universe was covered with water.

Hindu scriptures hold that Lord Vishnu, the protector and caretaker of all creation, sleeps in the middle of a vast ocean on the giant snake Sheshnaga.
When the cycle begins, Lord Brahma is born out of the 'lotus', an allusion to the kamal [lotus] which is the origin of all life.

This 'lotus' comes out of the navel of Lord Vishnu. The lotus is known as brahma kamal. The first sound of Lord Brahma is Om, the origin of all creation.

At first the ultimate truth "Brahman" was there from whom came out Shiva without any birth or death. Vishnu is formed from the vaamanga of Shiva or the left body.
Shiva is the extreme male power of the universe. He is the destroyer or annihilator of the universe. From him manifested the extreme female power of the universe Sati.
Then the preserver of the universe Vishnu took three forms,

Karnodakasayi visnu or Maha-Vishnu,
 Garbhodakasayivisnu and
ksirodaksayi vishnu.
Maha Visnu have several Garbhodakasayivishnus in the spiritual sky(The ocean of Karana).
Each Garbhodakasayivishnu exhales and inhales and with each breath a Brahma is born who lives for 100 Brahma years and dies with the breath of Garbhodakasayi vishnu.

Each Brahma creates a universe which comes to an end with partial annihilation. After several Brahma years the annihilation of Garbhodakasayi vishnu takes place.  At the last stage the dissolution of the whole

karan sagar with Maha vishnu is done by Shiva ,with Tandav, everything enters within Aadi Deva SHIVA and Shakti, and this cycle again begins.

This cycle of formation and annihilation is seen in Hinduism.
In the first Kalpa of Swetvarah, a battle was fought between Brahma and Shree Hari Vishnu to prove their superiority. Aadi Shiva manifested before arrogance. After that he also showed them his form in the shape of Shivalinga. From that day onwards the Shivalinga became famous."

The Deities go to Kailash Mountain Nandikeshwarji narrates the tale of battle between Shree Brahma and Shree Hari Vishnu.

"Once while travelling Shree Brahma reached the abode of Shree Vishnu. He saw Shree Vishnu. He saw Shree Vishnu resting on Shesh-Nag and being attended by Garuda and other attendants. When Brahmaji saw that Vishnu did not get up to receive him, he became very angry.

Very soon, Verbal dual erupted between them. It became so severe that a battle was fought between them, which continued for very long time. All the deities arrived from the heaven to watch the battle. They became very worried when they saw no sign of battle coming to an end. They decided to go to lord Shiva, to seek his help.

Anaal-Stambh (The Pillar of Fire)

"Though Adi Shiva knew everything, but still feigning ignorance, he asked about the well beings of the world. The deities told him about the battle, fought between Brahmaji and Vishnuji."

"Aadi Shiva then sent his one hundred Ganas to pacify both of them. He too went there accompanied by mother Parvati, boarded on a chariot. When Asdi Shiva reached there, he saw that Brahmaji and Vishnuji were about to use their deadly weapons- respectively. Fearing the destruction, which these deadly weapons might have caused, Aadi Shiva manifested himself in the form of

'Analstamba' (pillar of fire) between them. Brahmaji and Vishnuji had already released their weapons- Both the weapons fell into that pillar of fire and got destroyed. "Brahmaji and Vishnuji were very surprised to see the pillar of fire, which was so enormous in size that it reached the sky and penetrated down the earth.

Vishnuji transformed himself into a boar and went to the 'Patal' (nether world) to find the base of that 'Pillar of fire'. But he was unsuccessful in his attempt and came back. Similarly Brahmaji transformed himself into a swan and flew up in the sky to find its limit.

While going through the aerial route he met withered ‘Ketaki’ flowers, which had still some freshness and fragrance left in it."

"Aadi Shiva smiled at the futile attempts of Shri Brahmaji and Vishnuji. As a result of his smile the Ketaki flower fell down from the branch. Ketaki flower told Brahmaji that he had been present there since the beginning of the creation, but was unable to know about the origin of that 'Pillar of fine'. The flower also advised Brahmaji against making any effort in that direction, as it would be of no use." "Brahmaji then sought the help of Ketaki flower to give a false witness before lord Vishnu, that he (Brahmaji) had been successful in seeing the limit of that pillar of fire. Ketaki flower agreed. Both of them went to Vishnuji and Brahmaji told him that he had seen the limit of that Pillar of fire. Ketaki flower gave a witness. Vishnuji accepted the superiority of Brahmaji."

"Aadi Shiva became very angry with Brahmaji. He proceeded to punish Brahmaji for his falsehood. Shree Hari Vishnu requested Aadi Shiva to spare the life of Brahmaji. Aadi Shiva became pleased with Vishnuji and accorded him the same status as Hat of his own."

Shiva Obliges Brahma, Nandikeshwar continuing with the tale, said:

"After according same status to Vishnuji as that of his own, Aadi Dev Shiva opened his third eye from it manifested 'Bhairav'. He ordered Bhairav to kill Brahmaji.
Bhairav severed the fifth head of Lord Brahma with his sword. Brahmaji became very terrified. He was trembling in fear. Shree Vishnu felt pity on his condition and requested Aadi Shiva to forgive him. Shiva then stopped Bhairav, but told Brahma. "You spoke untruth with a desire to become worship able. It is my curse that, you will not be worshipped by anybody. You will posses only four heads."

Brahmaji begged his forgiveness. Shiva feeling pity on Brahmaji gave him a boon of being the presiding deity of all the yagya.

Similarly the Ketaki Flower also prohibited from being used during worship. But when Ketaki flower tendered his apology Shiva gave blessing that it would be fortunate to be offered to Shree Vishnu during the worship.

Consecration of Maheshwar

Vishnu and Brahma made salutations to Shiva and offered him a seat. They then worshipped him. This was the first time, Brahma and Vishnu had worshipped Aadi Dev Shiva. Shiva was very pleased.
Shiva-ratri has been continued to be celebrated since that day. This particular day is considered to be the most auspicious day for the worship of Lord Shiva.
A devotee who fasts on Shiva ratri remaining only on fruits, attain virtues equivalent to the worship done for the whole year.

The idol of Shiva is consecrated on this day.

Shiva has himself told the deities that he had manifested in the form of Pillar of Fire' in the month of Agahan and during the constellation of Ardra.

He also said-

"One who has my darshan on this day (Shivratri) or worships me in my form of linga is dearer to me than Kartikeya.
The place where, I manifested in the form of Pillar of fire will become famous as Lingasthan. Because of its resemblance with the 'Mountain of Fire', it will also be known Arunachal."

Later on Shiva brought back to life all the people who had died in the battle, fought between Brahmaji and Vishnuji.

Omkar

Lord Shiva then preached Brahmaji and Vishnuji on the five duties

(Panchakritya) saying that 'Shrishti' (creation), 'Sthithi' (position), Samhar (Annihilation), Tirobhav (Concealment) and 'Anugrah' (obligation or kindness) are the five duties by which this world functions.

The source of this world in 'Sarga' or Nature.

The establishment of this world is 'Stithi' or position. The tendency of this world to destroy is Samhar or destruction. The feeling of absence of this world is Tirobhav or Concealment and Moksha or Salvation is obligation or Anugrah.

Shiva then goes on to explain that the first four duties like Sarga (Nature) etc help in the nutriment of the world and the fifth duty Anugrah is a giver of Salvation.

Shiva also told them (Brahmaji & Vishnuji) that he (Shiva) had blessed both of them to look after the two duties i.e. Shrishti and Sthiti.
Rudra and Mahesh have been entrusted with the job of Sanhar & Tiribhav.
"The fifth duty 'Anugrah' has been kept by me." Said Shiva.

After describing about the allocation of the various duties, Shiva described the meaning of 'OMKAR' to them.
He said that OMKAR signified the world and contained the power of both Shiva and Shakti. This powerful mantra gives all kinds of worldly accomplishment as well as salvation. After that Shiva initiated both Brahmaji and Vishnuji with the OMKAR' mantra. He also preached them on the importance of the worship of Shivalinga.

Rituals of Shiva Worship

On the request of the sages, Sutaji describes about the methods of worshipping Shiva Linga.
He says "One should construct a Shivalinga either of mud, rock or metal and establish it in such a place where it can be worshipped daily without any hindrance."

"The 'Char' (mobile) Linga should be small in size and the Sthira (Fixed) linga should be large. The Linga should be constructed along with the pedestal.
The rule for constructing a Shiva Linga has been specifically described.

The breadth of thickness of the Linga should be twelve times the thickness of the devotees (one who is constructing the linga) finger, while the length should be twenty-five times. After establishing the linga in the above mentioned way, it should be worshipped after performing the Shodasopachar.

The thumb also symbolizes a Shiva linga and its worship can be done. While worshipping the Shiva Linga, the mantra OM NAMAH SHIVAY should be continuously chanted.
Chanting this mantra for five crore times, helps a man in attaining to the abode of Shiva. Worship of Shiva done during the mid night is considered to be especially fructifying.

Conduct of the respective Castes

On the request of the sages, Sutaji described about the virtuous and in virtuous activities of a man according to the respective castes be belong. He said:

"A brahmin who performs the rituals, as described in the Vedas, only is entitled to be called a Dwija.

A brahmin who is not that proficient in the Vedas is called a 'Kshatriya brahmin'.

A brahmin engaged in agricultural activities and business is called a Vaishya-brahmin'.

A brahmin who is in the habit of condemning and criticizing others, is called a 'Shudra-Brahmin'.

"A Kshatriya who looks after the welfare of his subjects is called a king, while the rest of them are known as simply Kshatriya.

A Kshatriya who indulges in business is called a Vaishya Kshatriya.

Similarly a Kshatriya who engages himself in the service of the three superior castes – Brahmin Kshatriya and Vaishya is called a Shudra Kshatriya.

Lord Jesus & Shree Krishna

A Link

Lord Jesus & Shree Krishna

Shree Krishna who is believed to be on Earth about 5771 BCE, was born centuries before Yeshua. Then what is the link between both Holy souls.

Shree Krishna was dark and extremely handsome. He had thick long hair with curls. He was a warrior, saint, friend, spiritual healer and extremely popular among masses.

The race and appearance of Jesus have been discussed on a number of grounds since early Christianity. Although the New Testament includes no description of the physical appearance of Jesus before his death, and its narrative is generally indifferent to racial appearances,[1
The New Testament includes no description of Jesus' everyday appearance before his death (he is only described in theResurrection appearances of Jesus).[13][14] and the Gospel narratives are generally indifferent to people's racial appearance or features.[1][11][15]

The Synoptic Gospels include the account of the Transfiguration of Jesus, during which he was glorified with "his face shining as the sun."

Shree Krishna on his old age spent time as a spiritual teacher, teaching spiritual wisdom, spreading love among his disciples, people around, and healing the troubled folks. Finally he left his body, and went to Heaven, as he was shot by an arrow on feet while sleeping (Crucified)

Christians believe that Christ is the son of GOD, the second personality in the Trinity. He spend a relatively short period preaching and healing (one year mainly) in the Galilee according to the synoptic gospels; three years mainly in Judah according to the Gospel of John). He was executed and ascended to Heaven.

Both Christ and Krishna (Kristo) (Christos is the Greek version of the word Krishna) (are said to come back on white horse. When Bible was created, the rest of the avatars were skipped and they used only FISH and KRISTO. (We all know how fish is related to Shree Krishna / Kristo and to Christ) It was tried to eliminate many things related to Kristo’s life so that no one can trace the original / source for the Bible.

"How, if you hear that the man newly dead is, like the man newly born, still living man - one same, existent Spirit - will you weep? The end of birth is death; the end of death is birth: this is ordained!" - Bhagavad Gita (The Song Celestial: 2)

"I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again ... no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." - Jesus Christ (John 3:3-8)

Now let us compare the two

Shree Krishna was miraculously conceived and born of the Devaki (Divine One) as the divine incarnation where as Christ was conceived to Holy Virgin Mary

Christ father was a carpenter but Shree Krishna was from Royal Descent

Angle (Yog Maya) appeared before HIS birth.  Christ birth was attended by angle, wise men and shepherd, and was presented with gifts.

Kansa ordered the slaughter of thousand of Infants who feared that losing his kingdom and life.
Christ was persecuted by a tyrant who ordered the slaughter of thousand of infants who feared that the divine child would supplant his kingdom

Father was warned by a heavenly voice to flee. He escaped in night to a distant land.
Shree Krishna and Christ worked on the same mission, ie salvation of Humanity

Both worked miracles and wonders like healing leapers, the deaf, blind, rising from death and taught charity and love.

Teachings were same.

Both spend their earlier life with cow herd or sheep

Christ taught his desciples about the possibility of removing a mountain by faith. Shree Krishna is said to moved Mount Goverdhan

Shree Krishna is called the “Shepherd GOD” and the “Lord of Lords” and was considered “the redeemer, first born, sin bearer, liberator, universal Word”

He is the second GOD of Trinity, proclaimed himself the “resurrection” and the “way to the father”.

He is considered the “Beginning, the middle, and the End” (alpha & omega)” as well as omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.

His disciples bestowed upon him the title “Jezeus” meaning “pure essence”
Shree Krishna avoided killing in every case, being pure vegetarian. Christ had similar views on killing

§      Mathew:5:21: Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
§  Mark:10:19: Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor thy father and mother.
§  Luke:18:20: Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
§  Romans:13:9: For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
§  James:2:11: For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Writing about Krishna in the eighteenth century, Sir William Jones stated, "In the Sanskrit dictionary, compiled more than two thousand years ago, we have the whole history of the incarnate deity, born of a virgin, and miraculously escaping in infancy from the reigning tyrant of his country." (Asiatic Researches, Vol. I, p. 273).
“Evarist-Regis Hucv, who made a journey of several thousand miles through China and Tibet, stated, "If we addressed a Mogul or Tibetan this question, 'Who is Krishna?' the reply was instantly 'The savior of men." According to Robert Cheyne, "All that converting the Hindoos to Christianity does for them is to change the object of their worship from Krishna to Christ." Appleton's Cyclopedia says this about the teachings of Krishna: "Its correspondence with the New Testament is indeed striking."

If the events in Jesus' life that appear to come from Krishna were eliminated as invalid, then most of the key Christian beliefs about Jesus would have to be abandoned: his virgin birth, incarnation, sinless life, crucifixion, descent into Hell, resurrection, ascension to heaven. Criteria for salvation, belief in the Trinity, the inerrancy of the Bible, the inspiration of the authors of the Bible by God, etc. would also have to be rejected.

It will be interesting to visit this link too….

It seems that the three people are one in reality. Just stages in Shree Krishna life.
Infant age, young age and old age.

Similarly  Horus and Krishna and Jesus seems linked
